Sketch is officially the most talked about restaurant in Mayfair, renowned for its character and charming energy. It is an art lover haven as every room offers you a unique experience from the hidden wilderness of the Glade, to the pastel pinks of the Gallery, to the neon coloured vibrancy of the Parlour to the world-class egg pod toilets (as shown in the image bellow).

If you are looking for a restaurant in London that is unlike anything you have ever seen before; one which is full of quirkiness, abstract interior design, themed rooms as well as top-of-the-market food, then Sketch London is somewhere which you simply must visit. It’s pretty much an Instagramers heaven, every corner of the restaurant demands to be admired and photographed.

I had my experience in The Parlour which is full of eye-catching bold patterns and quirky details reminiscent of early 90’s decadence fill the interior and bright painted segments of the ceiling with decorative mouldings replicated in neon lighting. Every aspect of the room is a breathtaking feast for your eyes. Words do not even express just how simply magnificent the  Parlour is. The space itself is very multifunctional, evolving from a quirky boutique patisserie in the morning to a fun, buzzing atmosphere in the evening.

We were warmly greeted by immaculately dressed, fashionable staff who were beyond helpful in recommending dishes and drinks according to our own taste palettes. This kind of service must be applauded as it really makes an overall difference to your experience. To start off the lunch, we started with an array of cocktails and all I can say is that they were quite possibly the best drinks I have had in all the places I have been to. The Peach Bellini has now become a number one favourite of mine! The food was utterly divine as the menu is very diverse, offering a lot of variety, and with the security of knowing that every single dish is the epitome of Instagram food friendly.

As it was for brunch, we had a bit of a mixture of food ranging from food from the breakfast and lunch menu. To start, I had the most delicious Pancakes with Maple Syrup and choice of milk chocolate sauce, bananas or blueberries and a vegan option Red Fruit and Red Chocolate Rice with Soya Milk and Vanilla beans! Then to follow I had prawns, a salad, ribs etc! I do not want to give too much away so I shall leave the menu exploration down to you!

Oh, and let’s not forget the macaroons! Food heaven!

I am wearing a dress from Yes Style which has a beautiful bow tie back which gives quite a 1960s feel!

After afternoon cocktails, we went for a little explore to the other rooms in the restaurants. One of the world’s most aesthetically pleasing rooms for us blush pink lovers; the Gallery is somewhere that must be on your bucket list. The Gallery is sugar-coated in a pastel Laduree-esque pink, with beautiful booths which give a slight feeling of stepping back into the 1970s. It makes me wish I had a big furry jacket on and some platform boots.  It felt a bit like Mayfairs own take on Beverly Hills which I absolutely love!

I had such a glorious experience and I am truly grateful for Sketch for allowing me to come in! I recommend everyone to come here, even for a drink or two, or go upstairs in the Michelin star restaurant which has the most tremendous reviews! I am now determined to go to all the rooms in Sketch, especially the pink room which would be wonderful to have an afternoon tea in!
